This couple is from the world of Erthair, from Free Islands which is a democratic island state in this steampunk setting. Maybe they are both part of some pirate or privateer crew.

I have been working lately quite much on steampunk oriented art. I'm making these for our steampunk rpg project called SteamJazz. Feel free to go and check it out at SteamJazz netsite [link] . Sorry for the watermark under the pic, but we are trying to protect these for publishing the whole game.

Heheh, yeah. I have to admit that the music of Abney Park and the rpg Airship Pirates that is based on their music have been great inspirations to us for this project ;)

Nice designs! The details suggest at a lot of colorful history and adventures. Awesome use of props to communicate character roles as well :)
